Entrepreneurs rise up! ITO market is finally mature!

If we compare the market scene of 2019 and, of, well, 2017, it will be obvious that overall situation is moving towards maturity. Entrepreneurs launching ITOs are becoming more professional and more and more transparent with their financial objectives. Indeed, over 70% of ITOs set both soft cap and hard cap during the second half of 2018 in comparison with a year ago, it was only between 30–40%.

Average ITO duration has increased significantly to 1 month in November 2017, and almost achieved 100 days in February 2019. It reveals that entrepreneurs need more time to convince the community and achieve their objectives due to the general decline of the crypto market and less active investors.

Moreover, number of successful ITOs is declining but the average success rate has significantly increased. Indeed, a year ago only 25% of them were successful whereas almost two thirds reached their goals in March 2019. More valuable project and experienced team reveals the current maturation of the industry. Entrepreneurs, as well as their audience, tend to become more conscious about the business; it’s not a game or just a try anymore, but a business, something that brings profit and something you should take care about.

In terms of geographic allocation, ITOs from United States account for 57% of US dollars raised across the top five countries: Switzerland, Singapore, Canada and Great Britain.
